After a year long hiatus to mate and to spawn, there once again has been a stirring in the loins. Following some blistering/or amusing shows at Blazing Swan, there is an album nearing completion, and shows in the works...

Sonnenmasse will be closing out the Friday night of White Noise Underground as part of the City of Perth's Innovation Month.
Continuing in the vein of activating the Brutalist architecture of our major cultural institutions, I'll be playing in the disused pedestrian underpass at Perth Concert Hall.
A pop up venue has been set up with white astro turf, a hefty sound system and projection mapped to the formed concrete walls. The sound has nowhere to go but through you.
I'll be experimenting in mixing minimal grainy black and white footage shot in Paris, London, Venice and Madrid for the forthcoming Raised by Brutalism release.
The set time is unapologetically 1:30am, when good boys and girls should be abed.
Sonnenmasse will debut 'Raised by Brutalism' at the Proximity Festival in October. It's a site specific work performed in the stairwell of the Art Gallery of Western Australia for an audience of one person.
